Papaya and Banana Yogurt Bowl with Cashews and Flaxseed
Soft ribbons of ripe papaya and banana rest on cool yogurt, flecked with chia and a hearty sprinkle of flaxseed and seeds. Buttery cashews add crunch, and a glass of fresh juice makes it a bright, sunny start to the day.
Test kitchen note: Choose papaya that gives slightly under your thumb and has mostly yellow skin; underripe fruit tastes flat and a little bitter.
Method 5 steps
-
Toss the papaya strips with lime juice to brighten their flavor.
-
Spoon the yogurt into two bowls.
-
Lay the papaya strips along one side of each bowl and fan the banana slices on the other.
-
Fill the middle with flaxseed and pumpkin seeds, then scatter the cashews over the fruit.
-
Sprinkle chia seeds over the papaya and serve right away.
That is the whole pie. Enjoy every slice.
