Cookie Policy

The small number of cookies we use, and how to control them.
This Cookie Policy explains how Silkpie Recipe uses cookies and similar browser storage. We keep it short because we use very few of them: only what the site needs to work and to remember your choices.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a site save small pieces of data on your device. Neither can run programs or read other files on your device.
2. What we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| silkpie_sid | Strictly necessary cookie | Keeps you signed in, protects forms against forgery and remembers orders you just placed. | Until you close your browser |
| silkpie_cart | Local storage | Remembers the items in your cart between visits. | Until you clear it or check out |
| silkpie_cookie_ok | Preference cookie and local storage | Remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice so it does not reappear. | 12 months |
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. Third-party resources
Our pages load web fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those fonts, Google receives your IP address and standard browser information as part of delivering the files. Google does not set cookies for this service. See Google's own privacy policy for details.
4. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in, and your cart and checkout may not work.
5. Changes
If we start using a new type of cookie, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
