Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and SILKPIT INC ("we", "us") governing your use of https://silkpierecipe.com and Silkpie Recipe, including the recipe library, memberships and kitchen store (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to buy a membership or products. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at the email below if you suspect unauthorized use.

2. Recipes and content

All recipes, text, photographs, graphics and design on the Service are owned by or licensed to SILKPIT INC and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view, print and cook from recipes for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, sell, scrape or systematically download content, or use it to train automated systems, without our written permission.

3. Memberships

• Plans and pricing. Monthly membership costs $9.99 per month and annual membership costs $99.99 per year, in USD, plus any applicable taxes.
• Automatic renewal. Memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel.
• Cancellation. You can turn off auto-renewal at any time from your account page. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Price changes. We will give you notice before a price change takes effect on your next renewal.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.

4. Store purchases

Product descriptions, images and prices are provided as accurately as we can, but errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct errors, limit quantities and cancel orders, including after an order is placed, in which case we will refund any amount charged. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier delivers your order. Returns are covered by our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, sharing membership logins, using automated tools to access content, submitting unlawful or harmful material, or impersonating any person.

6. Your submissions

If you send us feedback, recipe ideas or other messages, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use them to operate and improve the Service. Do not send anything you consider confidential.

7. Food safety and disclaimers

Cooking involves heat, sharp tools and ingredients that may cause allergic reactions. You are responsible for safe food handling and for checking ingredients against your own dietary needs. Please read our Disclaimer. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SILKPIT INC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SILKPIT INC and its team from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Where permitted by law, claims must be brought individually and not as part of a class or representative action.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
