This Privacy Policy explains how SILKPIT INC ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit https://silkpierecipe.com and use Silkpie Recipe, including our recipe library, membership, kitchen store and customer support (together, the "Service").

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

Account details: your name, email address and a password, which we store only as a one-way hash.
Orders and memberships: shipping name and address, email, items purchased, plan selected and order totals.
Payment details: we keep only the card brand and the last four digits of a card for your records. Full card numbers and security codes are never stored in our database.
Messages: anything you send through the contact form or by email, including your name, email address and the content of the message.

Information collected automatically

Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and referring pages, recorded in standard server logs.

We keep account information while your account is open. Order and payment records are kept for as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes, generally up to seven years. Contact messages are kept for up to two years. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Cancel membership auto-renewal at any time from your account page.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International users

We are based in the United States and process information there. If you use the Service from outside the United States, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. If changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice.
