Greek Yogurt Bowl with Cocoa Granola and Red Currants
Thick, tangy yogurt is paired with a crunchy homemade cocoa granola studded with sunflower seeds. Glossy red currants pop with sharp juice against the chocolatey clusters, and a single ripe strawberry finishes the bowl.
Test kitchen note: Press the granola flat on the tray and do not stir while it bakes; that is how you get big, snackable clusters.
Method 6 steps
-
Heat the oven to 325F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
-
Mix the oats, sunflower seeds, cocoa and salt. Add honey and melted coconut oil and stir until everything is evenly coated.
-
Spread onto the tray and press down firmly with a spatula into a compact layer.
-
Bake 22 to 25 minutes without stirring, then let cool completely on the tray before breaking into clusters.
-
Spoon the yogurt into bowls and smooth it to one side.
-
Fill the other side with granola, tuck red currants along the seam and set a strawberry on top.
That is the whole pie. Enjoy every slice.
